We've been in talks with our main professional lab printers and managed to reduce the cost of delivery from £4 down to just £3 saving you 25%!

We are now taking payments via the newly introduced Barclays Pingit service.. Simply use the mobile number in the contact section (07983 594555) as the recipient and an appropriate message referring to the payment.
Barclays Pingit is a free service and apps can be downloaded for free via your smartphones apps library.

2009: From the Archives: On top of the world!!
A lone paraglider soars above Babadag mountain near Fetihye in Southern Turkey.
Babadag's launch platform is over 1 km above sea level and once in the air the mountain floor drops away immediately allowing a climb to 2 km within minutes of take off.
Truly a sight and experience to remember.
Babadag and Oludeniz has drawn so many paragliders to the area that it is now the venue for a paragliding championship, with the International Air Games staged in Oludeniz taking place in October every year.

Well - 2012 is starting off well, I almost have a full wedding schedule - only a few weekends remain - so please get in touch should you wish to book my services.
So far I've been blessed with a few beautiful sunrise and sunsets and hopefully captured the essence of the sun and coastal qualities that our stunning Welsh country provides. Please do go and check on the Landscapes album to view these.

Its been a while coming - but finally its ready to go live.
We will be adding lots of new functionality into this new website in the coming weeks making your experience better and easier.
In addition to the new, refined interface and faster galleries you can also now navigate through the albums by using your cursor keys - just like Flickr and Facebook.
Also the new drop down bar at the very top of the screen will allow you access to commonly used functions like searching, quick navigation and latest news items.
Another important update coming soon is the ability to search within albums for tagged images - this for example will allow you to locate all bikes of a given number within a set of images.
Keep tuned for more updates and we'll be putting some new images up very shortly.

MLA Photography have been selected as one of the press photographers for the weekends Hay Festivals' Merthyr Rock three-day festival.
Featuring The Blackout, Ocean Colour Scene, Funeral For A Friend, Cast, Skindred and Goldie Lookin Chain, set in the grounds of Cyfarthfa Castle, Merthyr Tydfil.

Alot of people are asking for photographs from day 2 of the UKFJB Championship... unfortunately I was only able to attend the first day and have no shots from the Sunday.

An update from the weekend

It was a busy weekend all round with a few public events being covered..
Firstly - On saturday the UK FJB Marching Band championships were held in Cyfarthfa Park with bands attending from all over the country.
You can see coverage of day 1 in this album
Secondly on Sunday we followed two events - the next stage of the Mercian Dirt Riders Enduro series at Penpergwm, lovely weather and a perfect track gave us some awesome shots.

and finally we covered the Hospice of the Valleys' charity walk from Brynmawr to Llangattock in aid of Tracy. Alot of people braved the lovely sunny afternoon and walked the 9 miles to the Horseshoe Inn where they were treated to a buffet and a cold drink. Well done to all who walked!! We've got loads of lovely pics of you all in this album

MLA Photography recently met up with Sam of Nex Gen-Music to photograph their state of the art lighting systems. Having seen them at work - we can highly recommend their services.Photographs of their lighting systems will be made available soon.

We have all the latest digital sound systems and with access to almost 45,000 tracks (yes you read that right!!) tell us your favourite tracks and we'll make the nights playlist around YOUR favourites!!!

New Working Relationship

I am pleased to announce a new working relationship with Merthyr Valleys Homes in order to renew their photography and stock image libraries in a project encompassing the entire Merthyr Tydfil Borough over the next few months.

Having attended a few evening parties in the last few weeks its clearly the time to be organising those early evening (late morning?) get-togethers and especially with the stunning weather we are having.

You can now view our photo albums using a fast thumbnail style interface, simply view any album and the first view will show you the new interface, simply click on any image to display it full size.
In the bottom right hand corner is a remote control to allow you to jump to the first, last, next and previous images as well as toggling between the thumbnail view and the single picture.

New Year and Heres to an Early Start

Happy New Year Everyone!!
Well its been a good start to the new year with an early contract won to photograph in time-lapse the demolition of a local cinema in Merthyr Tydfil.
The Wye Valley Group are in charge of the project and have requested our commercial photography services to record the event in photographs both for historic and corporate use.

Keep an eye out in the gallery sections later this month as we are starting to produce medium and large wall prints of local, national and international buildings, landscapes and points of interest and beauty which can be purchased with free delivery!

Sunday is a time for remembering the fallen of wars past and to commemorate this I have some photographs of the ceremony at Cefn Coed Cenotaph.
